Rice has been close in some games. We play with no intensity on the road. At least we haven’t since the ODU game. Very little intensity at home. LOSS.

We leave Texas with an Oh-Fer this weekend.

Why is Coleby out?

Hurt his knee in the first half versus FIU.

Not ruled out yet. He is just considered questionable at this time. Could not practice on Monday. We should know more on that today.

He almost had that many against us. He was unguardable.

He’s the real deal.

Does UNT keep McCasland after this year?

I would think AD's would want to see him establish success for a couple of years at the Division I level. No doubt he's proven to be winner where ever he's been. Might depend on how much longer Scott Drew stays at Baylor.

McCasland is a man of faith, and has a lot of family in the DFW area. Can money move him away from DFW down to Waco? Probably.

HAHAHA That's funny, he has done the same thing at UNT that he done at Arkansas State. He run about half the team off and brought a bunch of JuCo's in to try and win right now. He will be at UNT until someone presents him with another job offer.

He run half the team off at Arkansas State and brought in 6 JuCo's at UNT he run off 6 had 2 graduate and 1 leave as a grad transfer and brought in 5 JuCo's. That's classic for a coach who is a Job Hopper, just ask Todd Graham.

UTEP will lose both games this week. I never in my life could imagine UTEP basketball as being this bad. I am just looking forward to the coaching search for next year. We have some talented freshmen and I hope the new coach will keep them. Johnson is worse than Floyd. He plays guys that have 0 to little business playing at the D1 level because they are good character guys. I just can't wait for the season to end.

Little Rock did that, as well. They are having a tough season this year.

The meltdown of om fans would be epic if they hired either. They hate stans from his days of coaching at state and Kermits played at state for his dad.
I think om wants the guy at etsu

If they are that bad, how did they end up on the team to start with? Was Floyd that bad of a recruiter?

That is a tough question to answer. Yes, McCasland has quickly improved North Texas, but will a bigger program look to snatch him up after just one season at UNT? I don't know.

Also, Baker is a basketball AD. The guy was on Eddie Sutton's staff at Oklahoma State and he just loves basketball. McCasland might pass on some bigger name offers, just to stay with an AD that views his basketball program as a top priority within the athletic department. Baker has already shown his commitment to McCasland, when they bought out his Arkansas State contract. If North Texas finishes among the top 5 basketball teams in C-USA, I could see a contract extension being signed after the season.

I can confidently say that Charlotte will likely lose.

I can't wait for this nightmare of a season to end. New AD, new coach, and hopefully a new direction.

The flu bug has hit ODU bball. Trey Porter, Michael Hueitt and Jeff Jones all have it now. Might be a good time to put some money on UTSA.

Stansbury has openly told numerous people that he has no interest in ever coaching in the SEC again. I would especially count Ole Miss off that list from his time at Mississippi St.

.
I agree with Rojo, won't go as far as Stansbury never leaving WKU, but we all would be floored if he went to Ole Miss. I was hearing Kermit Davis on the local sports talk network.

Thursday:
MT (12-1) at USM (6-7) -- Stadium Facebook

Saturday:
MT at La Tech -- Stadium Facebook

Seems as if Stadium has totally taken MT games off of the TV network and made them online only.

Yes Ole Miss might as well hire Kermit....He turns the 7th or 8th best player on an SEC team into conference player of the year....Just imagine what he could do at Ole Miss with that 7th or 8th guy?
