lol

Laugh all you want.

You offered him. So did everyone else in the country. Regardless of how he landed in Greenville, he still is going to be a Pirate. (If he can put his past behind him.)

You would have taken him in a New York minute pre-fight... and the only reason you wouldn't now is because he's from Jersey, in your backyard.

No moral high ground from Philly, I assure you.

Is this serious?

The kid is from North Jersey, no connection to Phillidelphia, He was on his way to Penn State. Good on ECU to pick him up.

Yeah, I bet those grapes would have tasted sour, anyway.

PS - This kid is a freaking angel compared to the rabble that was on the streets after the Super Bowl. Again, no moral high ground to be had.

RE: Football Signing Day Part Deux
I'm pretty sure no one in Philly nearly killed a 14 year old kid after the Super Bowl, which I'd know because I was there.

As already stated, he's not from the Philly area, and he was offered by Matt Rhule anyway: http://highschoolsports.nj.com/news/arti...n-shorter/

Did anyone read the article on the site The Athletic about SMU? It was primarily about recruiting but I thought it was a good read. Seemed very behind the scenes about the whole process. Pony can you confirm or deny you were the source of the article?
