I still watch old Clint westerns.....that grisly face and gravely voice is what men once were all about....

Outlaw Josey Wales is my all time favorite western. Pale Rider is great too....

Love Eastwood westerns...

Hang'em High was one I really liked. Unforgiven has to be my favorite though. I mean the end when he busts into the barn. Let's them know he's William Muny and he keeps it real. Hands down awesome scene.

I think the movie should be good, but we should always stand on the side of trying to appropriately rate these things.

I think Black Panther is an interesting hero. Head of State, lifelong heir to the title, new to the position, a tremendous weight on his shoulders.

Also, as someone else said, I'm tired of seeing NY and LA get f***ed. That's why I liked Guardians of the Galaxy.

I enjoy looking backwards at the genius of long past times....

today's version of movie making is mostly dogshite.....zero talent with zero ability to create the story.....it's nothing but a shiteload of cg/weak storyline/make the money horseshite....

it's why Twain is still my fave to this day.....

Two Mules for Sister Sara was a fun little film. Not a masterpiece, but a damn watchable movie.

Comic book movies don't win Best Picture. Neither do films released in February, a year before the next Oscars.

The bigger deal will be the draw. There's so much hype now for this movie that it will be considered newsworthy if it doesn't make $140 to 150 million in its first week. The only films at that level last year were The Last Jedi ($220 million), Beauty & The Beast ($174m) and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 ($146m).

No mainstream movie featuring a primarily black cast has ever made more than $100 million in its opening weekend, so if it reaches the 140-150 million plateau, then that's significant news I think.

OJW is my all time favorite western. The writing is incredible.
I also like both of the True Grit films.
I love well written dialogue though “deserves got nothin to do with it”.

if one hasn't watched the movie that lent to creating the TV series, they're missing out how many in the 'sip learned the game the 'hard way'.....the irony is the TV version was Archie Bunker.....that was ironical gold standard casting....

most of the outliers simply don't have a fk'n clue what they're talking about relative to today's racial viewpoint in the deep south....

you have to live it to fully understand it.....hollywood actually did a good job in both respects with these.....

one is simply an idiot if they think racism has left the building.....however, some have learned how to coexist over time......and there are some that only understand their isolated culture......

New projections have Black Panther debuting with a 185 million opening weekend. This movie is going to be huge. This is destined to be the GOAT.
