However, on the pages for those players, they are still shown as 3 star. They don't provide a lot of justification for the upgrade.

247 increased their ratings on Cooper and Dumont. The rating listed on the commitment page is the composite rating of all the major recruiting rating services. If you click on the individual player, it will show 247’s rating of the player under the composite rating.

Yep, knew that, but when I looked at the pages just a little bit ago, even the 247 rating was still 3 stars, it's 4 star now, so at least its consistent now.

Oh okay. Didn’t realize it was still showing three stars at some point.

So,
not his little brother.

Remember when 292 meant "flabby?" Must be the McDonald's these kids eat.

"photogenic" The colors don't hurt.

So he is part of the 2018 class that is already over what we can use. I don’t understand the details of how a recruiting class. I do hope that things have already been sorted out.

Preferred walk ons and grey shirting allow to add recruits beyond the 25 man class
scholarship limit. I'm sure staff have it all sorted out.

The 25 limit is not the same every year correct? I mean it could be 21 or 26 on any given year?

Max 85 schollies for the program total. Max 25 schollies for initial counters. You can over sign up to 28.

Talked to some folks affiliated with the Class of 2018 at the Spring game Friday, and it was mentioned that at least three of the 2018 class were grey shirting... Nick Carey, Jackson Barrow & Parker Bisek. Heard Carey suffered an ACL injury during his last game of the season and had surgery around the first of the year.

I know it's been said on here before, but remind me again the difference between a greyshirt and a redshirt.

until the second semester. they will be on the team and in school once winter term starts and their eligibility clock begins then. so, they can play in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and if they redshirt for any reason 2023

If they were injured prior to being on scholarship can they receive training and medical support from UT athletic and football staff?

Has been reported that a fourth member of the 2018 signing class will grayshirt this year. OG Sam Baker, St. Petes FL. That means that three of the six OL that signed have grayshirted.

I feel like it's better to redshirt...so that begs the question why are all of these commits grayshirting?
