The lead d.j., as opposed to the back ups, is really good. Knows when to interject. And knows when to stay quiet and let the crowd be the focus.

He got the entire stadium on its feet for the last minute, and kept us there through three replay reviews.

Was going to comment about the DJ. He did a very good job late in the game. Hope he gets more active and yes, I heard Bobby Beat Hard. Kids trying way to hard. Must have taken lessons from Alexander.

There defense is good and Cokely is a stud. Bryant will be an all conference player. Other than that, not too impressed

Wow...Cokely is really good. He is the best true big man in the conference. Good win tonight. That team is a lot better than their record shows. This is a good, mentally tough win.

Also, I was a D1 athlete so I know not to complain about refs and that they are very good at what they do. Usually they do not take games into their own hands. Tonight...was f***ing pathetic. Those guys were a complete joke. That tape needs to be sent to whoever cares and whoever can do something about it.

So this game actually makes me believe in this year. I do wish Jeff would find time to get Godwin and Hueitt some time. Godwin got two open looks and missed but I wouldn't expect that to happen much. This team desperately needed this win. Also, great crowd tonight. Really impressed with how many people made it out after a loss.

I was impressed JJ put Godwin in when we needed perimeter shooting. He ran straight plays for him, which I appreciated. They didn’t fall, but I liked the message to the freshman that this is going to be their team soon.

He ran two straight plays for him. Seems strategic to me. Everyone in the crowd knew Godwin was going to get the ball. And BJ was flat up to that point.

I liked the fight -- the never give up attitude the team showed all night. I liked the defense. I liked that BJ woke up in the second half. I liked the the fact they did not collapse at the end -- but Dave Twardzik hit the nail on the head. The win was largely a matter of good luck at the end. If Stith had not hit the floor on the offensive rebound attempt -- if he had not trailed the play after getting up -- if the 49ers had not bungled the simple pass (right into Brandon's hands) allowing him to make the uncontested dunk -- then the outcome of the game was very much still in doubt. Glad we got the win -- but the roundball gods were clearly looking out for us last night.
