I’ll tell ya what. Since you’re the one that seems a bit shaky on your original statement, I’ll let you name the stakes.

Nah. I bet with an ECU fan just a few months ago. He actually named the stakes of the bet though (loser had to change their "I root for" for a said amount of time). That or a certain sig bet works for me.

Whatever works for me. I was gonna suggest maybe a one or two week ban from the website but that might be just a tad extreme for some who spend a fair amount of their lives here.

Not sure if you're the pot or kettle in that statement...

But you suggested the bet so you choose the CSNBBS "punishment."

I don’t have 8,000 posts and a current streak of 217 straight days of posting. Don’t get defensive about it. It’s just a fact.

2 week posting ban from this website from the loser immediately following the conclusion of WSU’s 9th conference game. Deal?

GTS won't like it but deal.

I see 3 losses.

Which one besides the two Tulsa games?

Tulsa is going to finish in the top 5.

We WERE so young last year and had that Cincy game won until we completely stopped playing. We went straight downhill from there and didn't know how to recover. Add an offseason of development and two supposedly good transfers, and I think we will be in the running for an at large spot.

AAC Preview: Who Will Challenge Front-Running Newcomer Wichita State?

Quote:Wichita State had a slow start to last year, ending with a No. 10 seed in the tournament, where they lost a close second-round game to Kentucky. But their low seed belies their talent—KenPom had the Shockers at No. 8 in his final rankings. The only thing stopping them is health. All-America candidate Landry Shamet had foot surgery in July; Markis McDuffie had a stress fracture in his foot and will be out until at least December. But they bring back all five starters from last year’s No. 13 offense and have the infrastructure in place to be a Final Four favorite.

Joke that Houston was picked 6th after securing the 3 seed the last two years.

This will be our best team. Just beat Baylor on the road in an exhibition.

6th place my butt.

Good win for you guys, even if it is an exhibition. Playing a game like that before the season could be a really good thing for your team, especially confidence wise. Question for Houston fans: it doesn't look like Alley of Robinson played. Are they supposed to be good to go for the season opener? I saw that Alley has a hip flexor injury. Hope he heals quickly as I think you guys could use the interior depth and it sounds like Sampson was high on him.

You guys and Memphis should face off in an exhibition to see who’s the best in games that don’t matter.

Also not bad from media day... UConn too high, Houston too low. WSU fans your outrage at Cincinnati being picked first may have been misplaced.

Still hilarious to me that people were actually picking UCONN over UH.

UConn had a lot of talent coming back from injury. It wasn't inconceivable to believe they could make a run at an NCAA tournament bid. I'm not surprised at all that Houston has been this good. I felt coming into the season that SMU, UCF, UConn, and Houston all had legit shots at being tournament teams, with Temple and Tulsa having a fringe chance. I thought Memphis and Tulane would be awful, but they've been a little better than I expected. SMU and UCF's injuries were unpredictable.

I read the first 4 pages and outside of Cold, there were no outrage from the WSU fans who posted.

Maybe your generalization is a bit misplaced.

UCONN probably finishes 5th with a healthy Gilbert. Hell, without him we're still only one game outside of 4th...

Reading comprehension must not be a strength. I specifically said it was comical that people were picking UCONN over UH. How many games are you guys back on UH?

Nah. Just calling out your BS. You chose to single out UCONN and not SMU/UCF. All three schools have had experienced major injuries. UCONN was picked to finish 5th. They may very well still finish 5th. Try to keep up next time.
