I'm not throwing shade at Clemson. I already mentioned Milton Jennings as a big-time player that they landed in the recent past, and his name is more relevant than anyone else you mentioned in the past 20 years because the others that made it to the NBA were three star guys without blue blood offers. Some guys are wired differently, but most high-profile athletes choose colleges where they think their game will be showcased for the NBA and receive national exposure. Playing on the biggest stage is appealing and like it or not, his chances of playing in a championship game at Clemson are pretty slim. The same logic works against Carolina in football. There is a reason Carolina continues to lose players to Clemson, FSU, and UGA in football, and there is a reason that successful CBB players from S. Carolina leave the state. That doesn't say anything specifically about Zion, or offer a prediction, but I doubt there are many Clemson fans confident he's signing with Brownell.

I guess that means you couldn't find a prediction. Honestly, changing my picture to a Duke logo is inconsequential. If he stays in state, I'll change my picture to that school.

No, because i know Duke is something you despise. Just like me with UNC. Changing to the logo of a team you give two $hits about doesn't make for a bet because it wouldn't pain you to do so.

On topic prediction...

Keatts shocks the world and successfully recruits Zion late in the game while simultaneously getting pummeled in his first year in the ACC.

Hawks'need to focus on defense to close this out. Let's show we can defend. Drexel hitting 50%, let's get them down to 45% or less.

I predict no one will finish the ACC regular season undefeated, so I'm good. Great effort in Winston-Salem last night. Keep it up and Cuse may finish in the top half of the league.

Cuse will be lucky to finish in the top half of the league. But, i have no "dreams" of them winning a title.

Syracuse and Pitt have no business playing basketball in the ACC.

I wish they stayed in the Big East! They were better then, and they were always 1, 2 with ACC in terms of conf RPI. It appears Jimmy has checked out, although he's got a very good class next year.

If you really want to compare Cuse and Carolina, I'm happy to do so. Please feel free to send me a DM. If you think that you're sticking it to me after Carolina lost a 1 point game in Tallahassee in January, I can only laugh at you.

Carolina is coming off of back-to-back Final Four runs, and they are the defending National Champions. They are not legit contenders this year, but I NEVER, repeat NEVER, suggested they were. Their chances of another run beyond the first round THIS YEAR are exponentially higher than Clemson, and with Zion next year, they would be legit contenders while Clemson would not be.

So, a Cuse team that was lead to a title by Melo proved that one player CAN make a difference. Clemson with it's current roster + Zion could certainly make a run to think otherwise is foolish. Guys like Durant, Carried Texas, Melo, Cuse etc. It happens.

In no way am i comparing Cuse to Carolina. Obviously UNC wins that comparison, although many of the recent titles would have the ** next to them.

And for the record, the loss at FSU isn't embarrassing, losing to Wofford at home, now THAT's embarrassing.
