We need a new stadium yesterday. I think we may well have maxed out our potential given the current facilities.

the admin has to have the vision to make it happen. based on what you've seen so far, do you think this AD has what it takes?

Surprised the program hasn't folded again with this "leadership".

Well they should beat Temple.

Easy to get them mixed up, but I think FIU has Temple in the Bad Boy Mowers Bowl in St Pete.

Boca Raton Bowl is FAU vs Akron.

DAYUM Southern Miss got a better team than FAU. FAU should be playing Florida St. instead of Akron.

Heard we were offered a bid to play in the Tidy Bowl...oh no, my mistake. We play all of our home games in the Tidy Bowl...

Just a guess, but I think Lane is going to be interviewed by Florida State.

I think he may be interviewed if things start to drag out, but I seriously doubt he gets the job. He needs to prove he will not embarrass his next employer before a blue blood gives him another opportunity.

His antics on Twitter probably isn't helping matters.

RE: FAU
Player discipline with him coaching at FSU should be a concern as well. I have images of The U from the 80s and early 90s.

Well, it's not as if they were choir boys under Jimbo either. They had a few strong finishes in the fulmer cup during his tenure.

RE: FAU
If Lane wins his bowl game, which is almost certain. He'll be the 2nd on the all time wins at FAU after one season. Too freaking funny. Although the guy who follows Bobby will be number two after one win.

RE: FAU
Lane certainly has some resume builder games if he sticks around the next two seasons. FAU opens next season with rank Oklahoma and 2019 with Ohio State. If FAU holds itself together and continues to recruit well that Ohio State game could be a big time game for him and the program.

Well they should beat Temple.

We're never sure which team shows up, so I don't think that's a fair statement.

RE: FAU
FAU is playing Akron in their bowl. Akron is coached by Terry Bowden, Bobby's son. They are 7-6, beat Buffalo (which beat FAU). I say that FAU will roll.
