Flemmings traded to Maine (affiliated with Celtics)
If he ever gets the chance, I could see him really thriving under a coach like Brad Stevens. I'd love to see that.
Congrats to both Flemmings and Ingram. Two great players that I wish we had for a full four years. Could you imagine how many points Flemmings would have finished his career with?!
Go Seahawks.

I think I'd rather be in the NBA's version of the AAA than playing in Europe. Europe will always be there for them if they so choose.
At least in this case, their rights belong to an NBA franchise, and thus those teams will want to invest time into their development towards possible NBA careers.

The Greensboro Swarm are affiliated with the Hornets, FYI. Cool to see Denzel playing locally!
Greensboro's first home game will be on Saturday, Nov 4.

Addison Spruill made the Grizzlies' G-league training camp roster as well.

I would give them a very small chance od ever seeing a NBA roster. They could have a career in Europe which in the top leagues is very competitive and pays well. Not really sure either one of these guys is on a top level Euro team right now. I don't see them playing defense well enough yet.

No one thought Flemmings was good enough to play DI basketball either. As fans, I don't understand the desire to put out a meaningless scouting report and evaluation of a player's NBA prospect so quickly. These guys are chasing their dreams, and putting in untold hours of work. I'm happy for both of them, and slightly jealous that they're able play basketball professionally.
Good luck to them both.

Just slightly?
Here I am working a night shift for 12 hours. I'm insanely jealous and super happy for these guys. I'm not their dad, agent, or anything else that relates to what decision they make as pros. I'm just along for being their fan.
Get 'em boys.
Typically people that trash other peoples hopes and dreams gave up on their own long, long ago.

They might make 25K in the NBAG league and could make a mint in Europe. They can always come back and give the NBA a shot after making some bank if they want. Most of these guys end up playing rec ball at the local gym if they don't catch on really quick.

No, they really can't. The NBA doesn't just wait for guys like that.
Europe will always be there for them to make the money if they so choose . It doesn't work out the other way around.

Total BS-every year guys come out of college just like these 2 and they need to strike whiie the iron is hot. If they go to another league and do well the NBA will be watching and if not they can forget about it. Wash out of the NBAG and you can get a job pumping gas. Euro leagues provide these with a chance to make a really good living and have the experience of a lifetime not wasting away in Iowa making $12K and fighting for PT. You don't have a clue about this, just flat wrong.

1. Where do you get a job pumping gas?
2. That's the best you think they can do with a college education?

Obviously starting salary is the only consideration they need to make. Moving to Europe is a small move for 22 year-olds and probably shouldn't be considered at all. I watched these guys play at UNCW for a few years, so I'm obviously qualified to speak, WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY, regarding what is the best decision for them. Equally obvious is that if they make the wrong decision they're going to end up making minimum wage, if they're lucky. They're both dumb, and so are you if you question my opinions. I am all-knowing.

I haven't seen Mullet be right about a single thing here. Not once. I wish he would post what lottery numbers will definitely NOT be winners so I can get rich.

Did not know they had a college degree and if so maybe they can get that job in NJ and maybe not. I have known a ton of players over the years that played in Europe and most had a great experience but of course you are right about this. They should be on a tryout team making peanuts but living the dream.

Where do you get your facts from? This is absurd. Name one person who has graduated (4+ years of college ball), gone to Europe, and then back to the NBA? Name one, we'll wait.
Like I said before, it takes a special kind of person to attack a kid's dream just because YOU think they don't have a shot.
