I have a litany of misgivings with Moore. I disagree with him on almost every social issue there is. But the KKK? You got some evidence to back that up? I met the man face to face SEVERAL TIMES while doing Ron Paul stuff in the '08 cycle. A full on Bible Thumper that's holier than thou? Absolutely. KKK? I'd be stunned.


What I hope to get from Roy Moore is another Jim DeMint ... off the reservation on social issues but smart enough to shut up about them after a few years in Washington. And a serious relentless defender of the purse strings. Jim DeMint said some truly galling things about gays, including that they shouldn't be allowed to teach in public school. But Jim was also absolutely relentless on cutting spending and making people have a damn good CONSTITUTIONALLY VALID reason to spend money. And successfully went after scores of RINO Republicans to replace them with Republicans who had already located a fiscal spine.
