Worse- it was 6 of 10.

Just out of curiosity, which players from last year's team do you think SHOULD have made an NFL roster?

All of them.

Did anyone from the 2004 championship team make an NFL roster the next year?

I think Alvin Banks was on the Jets practice squad. I thought Abdullah would make a PS. That could still happen.

Looks like Earl Watford was surprisingly cut by the Jags Friday after originally making the 53-man roster. I saw him at the JMU game Saturday not knowing the news and wished him luck this season. In the moment I guess I thought maybe the Jags game was cancelled due to Irma..

Good catch and thanks for sharing that. He had a tough preseason camp having to miss at least the first half (perhaps a little more) due to injury. Just did side work and no drills. New Head Coach, Doug Marrone, is instilling a new attitude and system there. I read where EW was in jeopardy even after the 53-man roster was announced due to them initially taking 9 OL's, when most NFL clubs do 8.

I think if he can get back to 100%, his phone will be ringing soon. OL injuries and depth needs may warrant it. Not for $6M over 2 years, but still making money somewhere I hope.

Damn. 10 guys in camps, now only 3 on active rosters.

Plus 2 former Dukes got shots in rookie minicamps. Steele, and came across this 4 month old news:
"6. The Seahawks have decisions to make at quarterback.
The Seahawks had three quarterbacks take part in this weekend’s minicamp, Heaps, recently-signed undrafted rookie free agent Skyler Howard, and Tennessee Tech’s Michael Birdsong, who was participating as a tryout player. After watching all three quarterbacks this weekend, Carroll said Birdsong actually graded out the best and that the Seahawks will have tough decisions to make.
“Jake has always been a guy we really like, he has been really good for us and we can really count on him,” Carroll said. “Skyler did a nice job, worked at it. These guys coming under center a lot more makes a difference to them. I thought Birdsong did very well. Probably graded out the best of those guys in terms of completions percentage and things like that. He competed well to show there, he threw some really good footballs. So they did good stuff, we’ve got decisions to make.”"

Its ironic that Birdsong got more of a look/shot at the NFL than Vad Lee did. Who would have thunk it 2 years ago?

Arthur Moats is now a backup LB and special teams demon for the Steelers. He might get a start at LB this Sunday at Chicago though. Starter, TJ Watt (JJ's little brother), is ruled out due to injury. Will be either Arthur or James Harrison. Good luck to our commencement speaker. :>)

Glad to hear that. It’s odd to get cut and then re-sign with the same team, especially within the same season.

He knows Arizona's system so it will cut down significantly on any learning curve...playbook, language, coaching staff, a lot of teammates, etc.

He said something about it on Instagram yesterday, glad to see it be made official. There is no doubt that he can turn into a very good specialist, slot reciever imo.

Great news!!!

Glad to see Earl and Rashard back on teams. Now if only Kalid would get another look by someone. Find it hard to believe he would not help some team.

Go Dukes!!!

Brian
