I see WSU as more of a second weekend CBI team. Spot on aside from that.

Or maybe the CIT. Robo Doh led us to the CIT semis in 2011. It was epic as we rolled through powers Oral Roberts, Jacksonville and Northern Iowa.

I'm flattered you guys think WSU will make a postseason tournament. It's a bold prediction that shows the confidence you have in our ability to play with other juggernaut programs like Tulane, ECU, and the unfortunate dumpster fire that is UConn right now.

Feelin' the love.

That's nice and welcome WSU, proud to have you. Of course, not so nice as a Times Square building board like the Big East gave SMU and others! P6.

They're moving on to ECU and Lebo after being busted helping Louisville and Pitino.

Quote:Three-star forward Morris Udeze will play for Gregg Marshall at Wichita State.
A 6-8, 240-lb forward from Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida, Udeze announced his decision via Twitter on Wednesday.
Udeze narrowed his decision from 10 to five schools of the 20 offers he’s reported to have received. He made campus visits to Ohio State, Butler and WSU.

Udeze looks like a solid get. This is a terrible class for big men, so although he has some solid offers he is only ranked in the 200ish range. Still it's a great sign to beat those schools for him. Props!

Yeah I have learned to just trust Marshall. He is great at finding those diamonds in the rough types that will do it his way.

Seems like a decent get.

ECU's roster was just released... and there is a surprise on the roster literally NOBODY has mentioned. I'm guessing he's a walk-on? I don't know... I know we had vacant scholarships to fill... intriguing, but not expecting much.

Newcomer...

Dimitri Spasojevic - F - 6'8" 230lbs
HS: Gimnazika Cacak (Serbia)
Member of the Serbia 18u and 20u national teams...

RE: AAC Fans - Who does your basketball team lose/gain next year?
That leaves ECU's final roster looking like this...

BOLD = Never played 1 minute of basketball for ECU before this year

GUARD:

Jeremy Sheppard - 6'1"SO
BJ Tyson - 6'3" SR
Raquan Wilkins - 6'5" SO
Shawn Williams - 6'0" RS FR (Sat out last year)
Isaac Fleming - 6'3" JR (University of Hawaii)
KJ Davis - 6'5" FR (High School)
Seth LeDay - 6'6" JR (Virginia Tech)
Aaron Jackson - 6'6" GRAD (Akron)

GUARD/FORWARD:

Kentrell Barkley - 6'5" JR

FORWARD/CENTER:

Jabari Craig - 6'10" SR
Usman Haruna - 6'11" JR (Bismark State College)
Justin Whatley - 6'8" FR (High School)
Dimitri Spasojevic - 6'8" FR (Serbia)

This year could be rough.... rougher than usual. LOTS of new faces.

Wow! News just broke that Tulsa's big man Will Magnay will forgo his last 3 seasons with Tulsa to sign with an Australian pro team. This hurts Tulsa's frontcourt tremendously as well as our overall defense. He was probably our best defender.

Whoa. That sucks. I had Tulsa in a group of 5 or so in the upper-middle of the league that had chances to get at-large bids this year. Anything more to the story? Thought he was gonna lose playing time? Just want to get paid?

I'm actually surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen a little more frequently. Some of these leagues pay pretty good money.

I certainly didn't see him losing play time. In my opinion he should have been starting. He was originally from that part of Australia, so maybe it was a combination of wanting to be closer to home with the added monetary benefit, but I can't understand how someone would walk out on the team a couple weeks before the season starts.
