Tough start to the season, maybe Mo is in over his head? Honestly was amazed at some of the bs he has told some eastern NC players .Not a fan but have respect for the program have just seen too many illogical over reaction hirings at the school letting coaches like Logan, Riley even Ruff leave and they all end up better off.

Care to elaborate on what he's told some ENC players?

It's weird isn't it.

Things I did like. We were able to get TFL and the OL didn't seem as bad schematically. Besides an early mistake, I'm glad Spellacy is getting PT in the fire.

Things that are extremely disappointing AND a sign of horrific coaching: DBs completely losing receivers, LBs playing so far off the line and lack of aggressive defensive playcalling, questionable offensive philosophy.

My cousin played his last season last year and told me that Mo has the framework of a fantastic head coach, but the substance isn't all the way there. He said that Ruff had the substance and not the framework.

Too bad we can't meld them into one. Scottie MoNeil if you will.

Wut? Lol

According to him Mo has ideas that would make him seem like he'd be a great coach, but he doesn't have the skills to implement them.

The thing is the skills will come as he is a head coach. That's why I figured we would see a sophomore bump with him.

I still think he could get a bump. We came out wholly unprepared for the first game. In this game we ran into the worst team to run into. I think VT is a way better matchup and can be handled with proper prep. I think the game will be pretty low scoring.

Very glad some fool gave me over face value for my VT tickets. Either a VT fan excited to see a blowout or a complete idiot but recouping some wasted money feels good.

My goodness, final was 56-20. Obviously WVU sat their starters in the 2nd half.

MEMPHIS has certainly endured painful, humiliating beatdowns of this magnitude. I almost gave up on football when Arkansas State smoked MEMPHIS 47-3 in Porter's disastrous final season (2011).

It is just mindboggling to see ECU fall this far this fast. Stay loyal, ECU fans. This too shall pass.

Choosing between hanging out with my brother who lives in Australia or going to watch a team not even put up a fight is an easy choice. I'll have my paper bag and fire Compher shirt ready for USF.

Every fan base has fair weather fans. ECU is not exempt from it. Those of us with families that have multiple generations of graduates and have followed the program for 60+ plus years are not suddenly going to put a fcking bag on our heads and make fools of ourselves. We will be there pulling for the kids...win or lose. Every program has ups and downs. My father graduated in 1957. He can tell you of MUCH worse than we are experiencing now. I guess people just don't know our history.

Modern kids don't have patience. It's why so many teams play in front of half-empty crowds, even at big time programs. These fickle people are the future donors of athletic programs.

This doesn't sound like it has any meaning. What ideas can't he implement I don't understand.

I'm with you on most of this, but that first half made history yesterday. Most points allowed in a half ever for this program.

Hopefully our coaching staff can use this as a tool to motivate this defense to improve. The first half effort should be unacceptable to this team. If not? It is going to be a long ugly season.

They have given unacceptable effort since the mid point of last season? This is JT stuff and you know it.
