I'd argue since he got some starts last year during the playoffs Mac Patrick could be considered a "starter", but I appreciate your post.

-Game notes for YSU game showed Rigney as the starter at Center.
-MAC's bio doesn't say anything about him starting the NC game, just playing in 8 games.

Regardless, even if MAC had started a game, Rigney was last year's starting center.
