Had to go try it out...
niketeam.nike.com/en/en_US/?l=builder&styleNumber=UD5978bbcfc352b

That'll at least get you close. You can customize from there. Went with a different number font, larger JAMES MADISON (since the numbers are larger than the actual jersey), and purple collar to match this year's jersey. Also couldn't tell any difference between CAP/QB/SKILL jerseys.

Don't seem to be able to change the number, though? And can't add a name. Other than that, it gets pretty close.

RE: Uniform Surprise
Now that we've updated the uniforms, do you guys think we will update the field/end zones to reflect our new identity?

RE: Uniform Surprise
Since we're doing "white outs" and "black outs", both not school colors, how about a "gold out".. After all, gold is one of the 2 school colors.

Bring back the gold pants and jerseys, and have solid gold...

I kid, I kid..

That would've already happened if it was going to. So I'd say no. Honestly, I'd rather they fix our b-ball court...

You wouldn't consider that a waste since people believe (not me) are saying three seasons are all we have remaining in the building? Heck, someone must like it otherwise why did it get done.

RE: Uniform Surprise
Do you remember how it happened? It was a gross combination of like 3 different designs. I don't want them to waste money on replacing the floor. I was just saying it should be a higher priority than wasting money on football field re-branding. We still have tons of teams around campus in the old logo on their uniforms. Fix that first.

Seems I do remember that, yet someone (or committee) still had to approve it. I do agree that the field was just replaced so we will probably live with it for a few seasons.

The field will definitely be rebranded- I'm sure it will look like the end zone in Frisco.

I think they will replace the end zones prior to the first game.

Is that true? I've heard from a very good source that they won't do that this season due to cost

It's not happening this year.

I stand corrected. I thought the plan was change it- but I was mistaken.

I'd be shocked if they change the field before the entire field is ready to be replaced. It just seems like a waste to me.

Because it is. Particularly wasteful for an athletic department using $$$ as a reason not to move up to FBS. Glad they're not doing that.

Seems like it was only a couple, maybe three, seasons ago we replaced the whole field.

I've read the shelf life for turf fields is about 10 years (don't know if true or not). Regardless, agree with what others have stated-would be a waste of $$$ to replace it before the early 2020s..

It was. First turf field was installed in 2006. We played two seasons after Bridgeforth Expansion in 2011 on a mix of "old" and replaced turf where you could tell the difference between the worn and new stuff. The 2013 season opened with a new field. This upcoming season is only the 5th year on the turf we have, and at a school where everyone ******* about having the highest student fees, unless a private gift comes in for turf, we need to get some more time out of the one we have.

Did the flood in BFS occur before or after the new turf was laid down? I'm thinking it was before, so the new turf may have become necessary.
