Most other schools have the same policy, that, of not discussing why a player has left, or why they were disciplined. I believe our sister schools do the same.
If true, then they also are media blackouts. That's why emu79 is correct. Creighton said he (Roback) was being disciplined, but not why.
I don't care WHY......stop repeating the same thing. I've never said I want to know the details, and it's perfectly fine for EMU/Creighton to keep the specifics to themselves. Privacy, legal issues, etc.......I get that.
Is he showing up or not? Is it that hard, or such a secret, or against some stupid policy to say yes or no whether the kid's showing up?
Q: Coach Creighton, everyone's excited for the upcoming season, after EMU's first bowl game in 30 years. It looks like the new recruits and most of the Juco transfers are on campus working out with the team. One notable exception is Jairus Grissom, will he be joining the team this summer?
A: No, next question
Q: What about Nigel Kilby?
A: No, he will be attending XXXXX Junior college, next question
Q: How do you feel about your chances for another bowl game this year?
A: ...............10 minute answer..........
Simple.
Quick question. You mention 'the media' pressed Creighton about Roback until he finally said something. Who is the media you refer to?
Thx
