This is somewhat old news, but I chuckled when I read that Nippert is insufficient for the MLS in part because of its restroom situation. I guess the post-renovation port-o-lets just aren't impressive enough...

There is no restroom problem in the Club Seat/Suite area. No wait and very modern. It is strange that one has to hit the handle as there are no motion detected flush, How old fashioned!

Key selling point for the suites was the adult changing tables. Some of the big $ donors are really getting old after all.

Probably, but I literally can't think of where you could fit a full permanent bathroom on that side of the field.

I haven't sat on that side of the stadium a ton, but it seemed like there was a lot of room right around those temporary concessions. They wouldn't be gigantic, but they'd be permanent.

I'm trying to think of it now, but it's pretty much concessions & stairwells for crowd access all up the east side until you hit the port-a-johns, and they're right by the loading dock for the athletic department offices, so I can't see them actually building any additional structures right there.

Plus, actual bathrooms take up way more room than port-a-johns because of legal requirements for handicapped-accessibility.
