Bolded the key point. It does UC no good for him to sit on the shelf for what will be 3 years. He needs live snaps.

If he does not come here, all is not lost. We will still have another year of Moore/2 of Trail and have Ben Byrant in the pipeline.

This guy is starting to feel like the football version of Vincent Banks.

I was starting to forget he existed until I saw this story.

Still plenty to be excited about. And, for the most part, transfers are transfers for a reason. They're either talented guys that are buried in the depth chart or guys that can't put things together.

I think transfers will be huge for Fickell. He built a lot of good relationships with kids that are very talented and could help UC immediately that are sitting behind uber talented players at huge schools.

I believe you are thinking of Brandon Underwood.

Sounds like he left UC on July 4th break from summer classes and never returned. Turned up at MGCCC this week .

Yup, Fickell doesn't think he'll be back. Looks like it's Moore/Trail the next two or so years. Then Bryant or a wildcard in next year's recruiting class.

Interested to see how Moore and Trail develop under this staff. Not sure which fits the style of offense they want to run best.

I'm not too disappointed, and I'll tell you why. I imagine the most likely reason he transferred from UC is that he would have to sit out this year anyway, and by the time he would be eligible to play, he doesn't like his chances against the other 3+ quarterbacks we will have on the roster. Since playing QB is his dream, he is better off getting some in-game experience at a JUCO than sitting here for 1-3 years.

I'm taking this as a good sign about our future QB depth.
