Do what we couldn't, and then taunt the **** out of us. It will hurt, but it will be the best thing for the Sun Belt.

Which of your five losses are you seeking treatment for?

Probably the one when they lost to the 2nd best (right behind the Razorbacks) team in Arkansas

RE: Arkansas State vs Miami
I'm hoping you guys can change this nasty habit of getting blown out in P5 games (I know we've had our fair share too). Nebraska may be closer, but I feel like Miami is in a similar position to what WVU was in when we played them 2 years ago. They weren't getting as much preseason love as they thought they should have gotten and were out to make a statement. The advantage you have is that you are not Miami's season opener so hopefully Bethune-Cookman will catch the initial haymaker.

That would require the coaches and players to actually show up. Until then I guess they'll treat them like NFL preseason games...03-banghead

Blake Anderson uses out of conference games as a type of preseason. This game will likely be a blowout due to Anderson tinkering with his line-up and play calling still.

I don't read stAte message boards, but are you guys the least bit concerned with the team overall? OOC aside, though you still won a share of the conference title last year you guys never looked "good" all season, IMO. The Troy game was certainly your best outcome, but your offense as a whole all season was pretty sloppy, including in the Cure Bowl.

I'm mostly looking forward to what fake punt plays the genius Blake Anderson has up his sleeve.

Removing Buster from the equation, and returning a ton of skill players on offense will do wonders for them, trust me. Anderson is an offensive mastermind, and I can see them getting back to 2015 form with a talented second year quarterback.

As for the Troy game, they were certainly better than us by that point in the season, but a lot of factors played into how wide the margin of victory was. We had overachieved most of the season, and didn't have the depth due to compounding injuries or the mental energy to face another conference contender five days after edging out APP in an emotional game. Arkansas State probably wins that game 9 out of 10 times, but if the game was any other day, I think we'd have seen a better game.

While the offense was iffy we completely shut down UCF. Had we been able to get a little bit more consistency going that could've been an even uglier game for the knights

U of Miami has an incredible Defense. This will get ugly. The Canes should make a number of teams look bad this season.

You mean like the Toledo kicker blowing a gimme 30 yd FG to lose the game.

Ark St. fan bringing up 2014, questionable.

Should be a fun game no matter what happens for A-Sate fans. Getting a school like Miami at home hopefully brings y'all some solid season ticket sales. Question for App fans whens the return game against Miami? Is there one, or has it already happened?

I don't like bringing up 2014 because we somehow lost to that App team that lost to Liberty.

Now 2015...that's a different story.
