Boise will not win their Division for the third straight year. They have lost five conference games in two years, and lose a lot of production. Hope I am wrong. A 10-2/11-1 SDSU vs 10-2/11-1 Boise would be ideal.

LOL... Only in your little world that ^^^ would be.

But back to the real reality mwc fan... It starts and ends with the AAC... Only time any of the G4's will get it (NY6 Bowl) is when the AAC knocks itself out... C'mon you know this already, man.

Uh, yea, so your "knock itself out" scenario is exactly what happened to the MW last year when Boise and SDSU both lost to conference opponents in the last game of the season, or else the scenarios I laid out above would have happened. Boise would have been 11-1 with SDSU 10-2. Unfortunately, Boise lost to the same team that beat up your West Division Champ.

Regarding your NY6 comment, the facts dispute your perception my friend. You have one NY6 game. Same number as the MAC. Chill out with the emotions. Stop letting them dictate your own version or reality.

LOL... I'll let you convince yourself of whatever scenarios you come up with, at the end of the day the AAC is the only one that matters. I understand your displeasure towards reality but it is what it is.

Edit: I find it amusing that a fan of Houston would be saying anything to someone who is has been going to SDSU games since he was born. Anyway, good luck next year, I like your program, and root for Major.

Houston has no shot this year. None...

I wouldn't be surprised if they had a losing record though I'm going with 8-5.

RE: 2017 NY6 Bowl Spot
Actually last year was the year. Very similar to 2009. They turned heads nationally but struggled in conference and bowl time. Greg Ward must have been hurt because he stopped scrambling for the most part. They just didn't look the same after the UCONN game and all the injuries.

Teams to consider
USF
Memphis
Houston
UCF
Boise
WKU
SDSU

Thoughts?

Since the spot goes to the CHAMPION of the league
1. South Florida vs Memphis winner
2. Boise State vs SDSU winner
3. WKU if it wins CUSA
4. Toledo if it wins the MAC

Houston, Tulsa, UCF could move up if they win their divisions but they won't be favorites from the start.

RE: 2017 NY6 Bowl Spot
This coming season for the AAC is going to be very unpredictable... I can't for whatever reason am unable to predict who AAC's champion would be.

This season for Houston remaining healthy will be key specifically our stud, Oliver... I think our season is over if we lose big man Oliver, IMO.

Tulsa has to win @Toledo Sept 16 to have any kind of NY6 Bowl spot chance.

BYU would never join the AAC, as that act would be their acknowledgement that they are inferior to Utah. Never going to happen.

SDSU will join the AAC when it appears the AAC will get a substantially better TV contract (~$5M). Never going to happen.

Damn, Lou Holtz. What a sandbagger. You guys have too much talent to have a losing record. I think 9-3 is realistic. However, Major says that is not good enough, which is a stupid thing to say.

9-3 means you have a chance for eleven wins. 9-3 means you have a chance at the Championship Game. 9-3 means you are one of the best teams in your conference every year.

Tulsa is my AAC favorite. Not sure if that's good for the NY6 but I think they'll take the league title.

When the AAC gets that better contact, SDSU likely won't get the same good deal opportunity they passed on previously. I'm usually a glass half empty kind of guy, but I'm betting the AAC will get a new contract way north of $5M per.

It wouldn't work that way. If SDSU was going to join, they would be offered before the large TV contract, as the dollar amount would be based on projections a year or two out.

With that, I don't see it happening. AAC will get a small upgrade (50% to 75%) to their current deal. Which obviously would not make the it worth it due to travel costs.

It's a shame the two most likely NY6 candidates from the AAC have the weakest schedule. That might cause issues later in the season.

Well a couple of years ago the media were all ready to give that slot to Marshall, and their SOS was a joke...

Have you looked at USF's schedule this year?
