I dont know anything about him, but VC lists him as a walk on. What makes you specifically so excited about him over CSUs other incoming scholorship players? Mainly why he is a walk on, yet you have such high hopes for him?
VC is not always an accurate source of information. I'm excited about him for the reasons I mentioned. Also, he's a RS freshman and has already had that additional year to improve his game. He should be able to help open up Sims Jr. if he's able to be a threat from the outside.
They have a ton of incoming players assuming they all remain committed. I'm guessing a couple may end up redshirting.
Travon Bell of Mather Commits to Chicago State
Travon Bell (6-3, G) of Mather committed to play basketball for D1 Chicago State University. Bell is one of the top players in the north side of Chicago. He is a deadly 3 point shooter with good size and shooting range.

Thanks Pistol for adding that information on Bell!
Ben- Yeah, Dildy has a great relationship with a lot of the coaches in the city so i know he tries to recruit the local products hard.
I'd figure he truly is a scholarship player, but VC doesn't have it recorded right. They have another RS junior for this upcoming year in Ken Odiase and he seems like he'll be a real athletic player and solid defender.

Try DMing them on Twitter, I did when they still listed Zach Moore as a walk on and a day later it was fixed

I was wondering if Odiase was still at Chicago State. His JC stats aren't that impressive but he appears to be a pretty good athlete with three point range based off the video I've seen...
