Best signee of 2017
Who, 5 years from now, will we look back on and say was the best WAC signee of 2017 in everyones opinion?

Me, I'll say Delante Jones or Jarkel Joiner

I hate to admit it, but I'd go with Jarkel Joiner.

A bit biased but yes my dude Jarkel. I also really like Darrin Person. Fresno area player of the year, offer from Fresno State and averaged 20 ppg and 10 rpg.

RE: Best signee of 2017
The best signee with an immediate impact on the WAC is NMSU's Zach Lofton. The best WAC signee for the future is either Cal State Bakersfield's Jarkel Joiner or GCU's Roberts Blumbergs.

I think Seattle's Delante Jones is also a very good signee but he is not eligible until 2018-19. So, his impact won't be felt for another year.

Come on, don't act like you guys haven't hyped up recruits or transfers before. It's just predictions that's the nature of the off season.

Like Jermaine Haley who IMO was a flop and he came highly touted and then Pascal, a skinny African kid who no one recruited and became an NBA 1st round draft pick.

I know right? Like all of the sudden making a simple prediction is dumb, so lets state the obvious "we have no idea till they actually play". How intellectual

I am optimistic for Travon Bell. He's known to be a deadly shooter, and a heck of a scorer in general.

I dont know anything about him, but VC lists him as a walk on. What makes you specifically so excited about him over CSUs other incoming scholorship players? Mainly why he is a walk on, yet you have such high hopes for him?

Not sure what you mean, Ben. The guy is getting free jerseys. Good for him. I never said anything about the individual you are speaking of, or his medical condition.

Yeah I saw the post, that was a pretty distasteful thing to say in my opinion.

Maybe they misunderstood, but the few who responded seemed more interested in outrage than understanding. No worries, though. We've all gone on with living our lives.

Ben seemed content to derail his own topic by inquiring about unrelated Twitter posts. I just went with it.

VC is not always an accurate source of information. I'm excited about him for the reasons I mentioned. Also, he's a RS freshman and has already had that additional year to improve his game. He should be able to help open up Sims Jr. if he's able to be a threat from the outside.
They have a ton of incoming players assuming they all remain committed. I'm guessing a couple may end up redshirting.
