To me, Freedom's Flight at Paulson and the overall game day atmosphere make it one of the best venues at any level.

Troy and USA are the only SBC school's I've had a chance to see. No one has been to Teddy Cat yet.

I still remember when Stadium Journey put us in their top 20 stadiums above UGA and Tech. They had a representative at the 2014 App game and he said it was the best atmosphere he's ever seen at the G5 level.
You mean the game that was delayed numerous times due to all the stuff students were throwing on the field? Some App fans thought a full scale riot was about to break out.

Texas State = Was still renovating but nice facilities.
Baylor = Beautiful Stadium on the river.
Furman = Nice small stadium on a very pretty campus.
UTEP = Can't get closer to the Border Wall than this.
Duke = Nice smaller stadium for a P5 school (40K capacity), beautiful stadium and campus.

Stadiums I want to go to:

Army
Georgia Southern
Any Mountain School

And Obviously my all time favorite Stadium in atmosphere and beauty is App State.

? ... I can't believe you said Dook ... worst gameday atmosphere for a P5. Absolutely no where to park or tailgate. The campus is way too gothic. Those nerds only get excited when Carolina or ncstate comes to town. The stadium is only full then cause a 3rd is filled of Heels/Pack fans. Even WF has a better GameDay atmosphere then dook in the ACC. Haha

It wasn't anything serious. Some dingus thought it would be a good idea to hand our frisbees to drunk students before the game as a promotion and that's what was being launched onto the field. At least our students didn't steal an ambulance, set a building on fire, and shine laser pointers in the opposing team's faces.

Can't believe you left out the goalpost through the bus window. That's been the go to whine for years by Ga Southern fans. Besides, I seem to remember it was big, round GA Southern logo discs that were being were tossed onto the field. At least App has never been reprimanded by the NCAA and made to cover up seats behind the visiting team to protect them.

Rofl no need to do that at your stadium because of the track.

Somehow (given the subject) I knew this story would find its way onto this thread. Only about the 10th time I've heard it on here.

Can we get back to the subject and have people's lists?

Not a closet fan, I've admitted to being a Carolina fan since I was 5. haha
But back to the topic of thread, App's gameday atmosphere is better then both UNC and Dook IMO. ncstate gets the nod as best place to watch a game in NC due to the large area for tailgating and mass number of students that fill the seats.
