we come out in new uniforms we win, no doubt. the same yellow, ****** up gray pants, and the team will be too depressed to hit, field or throw.

I'm at home regrouping after that one. Gotta be somewhere by 8am tomorrow so first sign of TTT tonight and I'm out.

So...are people who had no idea there would be a late game, all snuggled in bed, gonna go grab their USM gear and head to the university for some PTP magic?

Just talked to a guy who said people were leaving because they didn't want to stay late. Safe to assume they've seen enough of balkball?

I can't see the line-up breaking out of a slump in the 2nd game of a double header at 945 pm. We are in big trouble.

Yep, I had to switch to tunein. Seriously, WTF?

Ha! Somehow, these things never cease to amaze me.

"No pitching" for an SEC team means pitching that is a little better than what we see on the weekend.

I hate to say that to feed into the "S-E-C" **** but it's mostly true.

MO State leading Arkan's-ass 3-1 in 7th...so I guess they weren't too worried about SEC pitching...

SEC pitching is a myth....we've done quite well against the league....it's just lately we haven't had C-USA pitching, our "O" has picked our ass outta the fire many times.

They scored three runs in the 7th in the final game of a Regional.

Not sure how this is evidence of your point.

my evidence is my white ass 03-lmfao Jeezus

Actually....Arkansas only has 1....so dat mean MO State has SEC pitching?

I never said anything about SEC hitting being that much better. Pitching depth is what separates elite power programs.

But yeah. Missouri State probably is pretty close to having SEC level pitching most years. They are routinely among the nation's leaders in pitching.

At the very least, they are damn sure a lot better than what we typically see on the weekend--which is the comparison I initially made.

Naw, tomorrow

They're saying they will play tonight.

So again I ask, McCarty tonight?

here's the way I see it....McCarty starts....then Roberts/Sandlin.....then Colt or Braley if the towel needs to get tossed....

we have nothing to lose with the arms at this point.....Berry and Fed will get honest answers relative to how they feel....

this one should be interesting to say the least....

we all knew that going in....

we're batting ~.250 as a team going back to biloxi....

our 9/1 combo is not good right now....

toss in Braley and Donaldson's lack of base hit production and it's a prescription for disaster....

at the moment, lack of production at the plate is putting too much pressure on the mound....

Colt doesn't need to come close to a baseball unless we have a 20 run lead... even then, I will be skeptical.

Holee ShiTTT

State beats us again and we deserve every bit of trash talk that we get.

Thank God I am not in Mississippi.

(By the way, Billingsley has thrown way more than 10)

Honestly...I'd say the ones who were talking lame smack (Reggie Favre, I'm looking at you) already deserve it no matter the outcome of tonight's game.

With 9 of our pitchers out, we never expected to do well this year. We've been playing with house money all year, so just making a regional was a tremendous accomplishment. Forcing a 7th game the way we did is remarkable.

I'd love to win the whole thing, but won't be crying in my beer if it doesn't work out. We've already accomplished so much more than we had any right to expect.
