ODU bats were silent again tonight, thankfully LA Tech lost at MT. We need either one win in the next two days or one more loss from LT to remain in the 2/3 side of the bracket. Hopefully Bain brings it tomorrow and our bats wake up. Go Blue!

Monarchs trailing 4-1 after two. What has happened to Bainbridge? Lately he seems to be getting hit like a lovebug against a semi on I-95. And where in the world have our bats gone. It's like we are not the same team we were one month ago.

Our bats aren't gone, we scored 11 and 9 in back to back games just last weekend. We just stranded a lot of guys last night.

Yeah, you're right. And the third looked better on both ends with two runs for the good guys, and Bainbridge getting three up and three down. Looking better.

5-4 -- ODU takes the lead thanks to a home run by Morgan and a run walked in. Going to the bottom of the 4th.

But we give up three in the bottom of the inning. After four, FAU leads 7-5.

Going into the seventh -- still 7-5.

You are aware that CUSA is a legit baseball conference, right? We do not need to make it to the finals to earn an at-large.

If we win today, we'll be 20-10 in the 6th best conference. That's pretty solid.

We are pretty much a lock to get in. Please dont listen to posters that dont follow the sport.

I do think we are in, and likely to be a two seed depending on this week. If we lose today and don't win a game in the tourney, we might slip to a three seed. Doesn't matter as two plays three in the first round anyway.

I know one thing, we need Wilson back for Sunday games and I haven't heard a peep. Has ODU reported on his injury? Either he or Brett Smith (or Blanchard?) could be our Friday night starter next year and two of the three are hurt now.
