Well, in the last 6 years, you are right...but only because we have gotten gone to the Big Dance for the last 3 years.

However, here's a quick comparison of CJP and Mike during their first six years on the Memphis and Arkansas jobs respectively:

CJP => 1 NIT, 1 no tournament post-season, 4 Big Dance appearances and total Big Dance record of 2-4. No Sweet Sixteens.

MA => 1 NIT, 3 no tournament post-seasons, 2 Big Dance appearances and a total Big Dance Record of 2-2. No Sweet Sixteens.

The one big difference is that it appears that Mike Anderson is trending up, if ever so slightly. Anderson also has an Elite 8 and a Sweet 16 on his resume from his stints at Mizzou and UAB.

I am a bit surprised at how similar the resumes are.

Arkansas hasn't been to a sweet 16 in 21 years

Anderson does have a complete collection of five Arkansas Wings AAU teammates coming in as 2018 recruits

Like I said, it SEEMS that Mike Anderson is trending up. Amazing that the Hogs haven't been to a Sweet 16 in 21 years. The attendance has been very solid for much of the time. I would think though that Anderson needs to get to a Sweet 16 in the next 2 years or so or else he will be on the hot seat. That would be 8 years and no Sweet 16. Of course, as the prior poster have noted, it's been a LONG time since the Hogs have been to the Sweet 16.
