The 2010 squad featured six players who scored over 1,000 points, Gibson, Young, McKines, Gillenwater, Rahman, and Laroche who almost knocked off Michigan State in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State went on to the final four that year.

Braun & Russell both went over the GCU career 1200 point mark this season. DeWayne ended up around 7th/8th on GCU's all-time career scoring list with 1249 points. Not bad for just 3 seasons. If we bring in his NAU scoring, Russell finished with 1711 career NCAA points.
In JB's first 3 seasons as a Lope, he's already become GCU'S 5th all-time career scorer with 1325 points. It doesn't take much imagination to see him climbing to 2nd place (1490 points) by the time WAC play rolls around next year.
The top spot, however, will remain safely in the hands of Bayard Forrest (1972-76) at 2195 career points. For now..

Braxton needs 329 more points to reach 1,000. Eli needs 566 more points to reach 1,000. I also think Sidy Ndir will reach the mark if he does get the medical red-shirt.

Forrest Bayard was drafted to the NBA twice. I think his level of competition was fine for his day. Losing 9 games this season didn't help JB. At his current 17.5/game average, that would have been around 158 points. If he had those, it would ONLY take about 22.4/game next season to reach Forrest.

Yeah I definitely could have seen him becoming the all-time scorer, especially since he will be the primary scorer next season.

I had to verify the numbers, but you can throw Jerome Garrison into GCU's 1000 Point Club, with 1265. He took the WAC by storm in our first year of transition, earning All-WAC 2nd Team and Defensive Team honors. Production dropped his senior year, as way had to be made for Russell and Royce Woolridge.
Killian Larson would rank among GCU's best if we had him all 4 years. He was still able to record 874 points in just 2 seasons at GCU, after transferring from Dominican. His total career points between both schools is 1441.
Garrison, Glaze, Russell, and Braun are on my Mt. Rushmore for this time in GCU basketball history. Those guys laid the foundation & I hope the program honors them for their contributions at some point in the future.

Killian was dynamic in that first season in Division 1. He was a double double machine. 17.2 ppg and 11.6 rebounds. I remember he was top 2 in the nation in rebounds for some time and I think finished in the top 5. I tried to verify that, but couldn't find the info.

Chicago State has had six in the last 11 years. Palmer just hit it tonight. Some others notables are Clarke Rosenberg, Carl Montgomery, and David Holston.
