Lets see SG, Baxter, Brown,William are averaging over 20 points a game.
Baxter is part of the team..Dirk will replace Brown in the lineup....next year..Baxter is a baller, he is asked to defend.

But why is the fan discussion always negative about what they are doing wrong especially For a team that has won 15 of 16.

He has his opinion and you have yours. There is room for both. I actually admire the way Answer points out our shortcomings after a victory. It would be easy to do it after a loss. Trust me we all are thrilled to come out with a road win. We also realize that while 15 of 16 is impressive most of those teams aren't exactly stellar. That shouldn't upset anyone on here considering that almost all have constantly stated that this conference sucks. Again I will say any road win is an accomplishment (as well as a 18-4 record) and our goal should be to continue to get better.

I'm not talking Answer specifically. And discussing the shortcomings is different from calling out specific players as sucking.

I can be overly negative sometimes, yes. But it comes from me wanting the best for my team. I see areas that I think we can improve on and I comment on it. I'll try not to be so negative. I just want the best for UAB. However, on the flip side, I think it's our perogative as fans to point out and discuss our short comings.

This team is really good. In spurts. That's my biggest gripe about us. Don't be the Carolina Panthers. For gods sake, learn how to play with a lead. Don't let off the gas. Play a complete game. We still haven't done that this season.

Williams is the man. He scores, defends, rebounds, and is probably the most athletically gifted player on the team. Yes - more than mister William Lee, who's likely a close second. Some minutes could be trimmed here and there to get Williams a role commensurate with his talent level.

Great win today. Would love to have the WKU one back, but this was more important by far.

RE: UAB @ Marshall Game Thread 1/30/16
I agree that Dirk is gifted, but he was a complete ghost against WKU. In order to command the minutes you think he deserves, he's gotta play with much more consistency. I don't expect him to go for 16 every night, but we should be able to count on him for 10 points per game.

I think his role will increase next season with Brown leaving. It'll be interested to see if he or Lavendar win the starting spot.

He needs consistent minutes and a role in the offense to do that.

Wouldn't be surprised if Williams could out jump Lee. He's blocking guys threes and jumps shots on the perimeter.

I will say this, the posters on this board mainly consist of 70% Kool aid drinkers, 25% even keel posters, and 5% doomers and gloomers.

5% doomers and gloomers is way too low. Do you not remember the blowup we had after WKU?
