GS 4-time National Cheer Champs
Georgia Southern won its 4th All-Girl National Championship in 7 years at this weekends NCA College Nationals. Co-ed placed 2nd!

I know this doesn't mean much to most of you, but I think its an accomplishment that should not go unnoticed.

Me thinks you know how to use google. I happen to respect them and would rather not parade images of them around on the forum for you men to oogle at :) . However I cannot stop you from looking them up yourself.

but incase you wanted to see the trophy. (this is from 2012, I haven't see any from today posted yet)

I liked FIU's dance team better than Troy's Cheerleaders, but with FIU Out, Troy is the reigning champs I agree.

Strutters are at the top, and all others pale in comparison when it comes to dance teams.

Cheerleaders? Either my standards have raised, or the quality of cheerleaders has lessened over the years.

I didn't say otherwise, was just too lazy to post their division.

Well cheerleading isn't exactly just about looking pretty anymore. For the teams that compete, they need athletes, not just pretty faces. However, I will say this. go to college nationals in daytona, and check out this thing called stunt fest. you will change your mind when you see the amount of quality walking around in bikinis....

Congrats to the Eagle cheerleaders.

(Question: Do they really categorize the competition as "All-Girl?" Seems very empowering.)

You have the "all girl" squad, which is made up of all girls, and a coed squad which is a mix of guys and girls. The competition itself is just called a cheerleading competition, which is held by NCA, or National Cheer Association, which is one of the leading bodies that governs cheerleading at all levels.
