No QB controversy at TXST this season
TXST had it's first scrimmage today and Tyler Jones went 12-13, 124 yds, and 1 TD in his limited snaps. Feels good to finally have a guy who can really place the ball.

First practice and actual game conditions are a lot different.
Good start to that though.

As long as he doesn't get a break, tear, or ends up in a rock garden of Chimeys wasted we should be good.

This is the kid that came in during the Wyoming game last year and tore it up. He was a true freshman. Did us pretty good until he broke his wrist. He's game tested. Won't be making those freshman mistakes this year like he did vs ULM. 03-weeping

TXST fans are happy because the QB situation has sucked and been up in the air for the last 3-4 off seasons. Plus he passed the ball. Fran recently that discovered that running wasn't the play call that could be made.

This is a nice change from previous seasons. So who will be #2?
