It must be a day for Trojans... UALR is currently up 7-0 on USA. They want to avoid the sweep in a big way.

UTA and ASU tied 6-6 in the Top of the 5th. Both starters are long gone.

Troy hasn't been swept at home since 2004, and ULL plays at Troy.

ULL also plays At USA....

They won't have it easy

Not to worry, Ballew is moving up the ranks. They'll have a great closer in a year or 2.

ASU makes two rare fielding errors and lets UTA tie it back up at 8. We go to the 6th.

This is baseball, anything can happen and certainly it is almost impossible to go through conference play without a few losses. Having said that, if this team can avoid injuries, it could set up for an interesting post season. So far, this appears to be the most complete team that the Cajuns have fielded. They do a lot of things very well. If you are a Cajun fan, you have to be excited right now. I think we now may have the best record in the country.

Now 10-8 UTA leads. We just cannot handle their middle of the order. they've got multiple guys with 9 hits or more this weekend.

And ASU immediately responds with a Walk, RBI Triple, and RBI single. 10-10.

back to back HRs by the bobcats! Don't see that to often.
