UT getting new ticketing service

Thank God! What they have now is beyond horrible. You can't even pick your seats or section or anything. You just select the number of seats and UT gives you whatever seats they feel like. Then they charge you a $5 service fee. TicketReturn is what the Walleye & Mud Hens use. It's 1,000x better than what UT currently has. Should make it easier to buy tickets.

Very interesting system. Hopefully it opens up a lot more options for ticket acquisition.

It should. With the Mud Hens & Walleye, you can pick your own seat (from the available sections) and print the ticket at home.

I haven't used that particular system but having used similar systems for events here in my area, it's great. Especially if you are claustrophobic and need an end seat, or maybe you'd rather be third row in a $20 section rather than 36th row in the $40 section adjacent to you. Hope it works for UT.

sounds like what toledo was getting away with for sports arena events for over 50 years.

go as soon as the BO opens and you'd get 12th row. then get to the event and some guy who wasnt in line has front row.
