RE: FB Class of 2014
He didn't go to Hargrave Military Academy, he went to Fork Union Military Academy (FUMA)-- two different schools located in different cities. These two schools are very similar and as you would expect are rivals.

FWIW Prunty was at Hargrave.

I thought he was, just wasn't entirely sure. That was a big factor in the Tyson recruitment, right?

You could write a book on UC recruiting for both sports with that title.

Meanwhile, USF keeps chugging along. Picked up a commitment today from a 3 star JC DE with offers from Cal, Baylor, Texas Tech, Arizona St., etc. They don't have a star-studded class by any means, but they seem to be picking up guys with plenty of P5 offers somehow.

They do, don't they?

Well, with Boeteng off the board, we will have room for another super sleeper that nobody has a profile for yet. Gotta stay positive.

Today is JUCO Signing Day, I've not heard about any surprises.

Casey Gladney, Hakeem Allonce, Jarred Evans, Corey Ferguson should all be able to sign today.

Gladney was just named 1st Team NJCAA All American on Monday. Also noticed Errol Clarke receiving Honorable Mention as a freshman and Akise Teague on 2nd Team Offense.

I was looking at Teague's profile and it doesn't look like anyone is recruiting him.

When you steal $700 worth of electronics from various dorm rooms, that's probably a red flag.

I would absolutely love to have him back (as I think he's a better version of RDA4) but there's a metric ton of baggage with him. Clarke is all but a lock to the B1G by all indications, though he has the size, speed, and production to fill in nicely in the hole in our LB corps.

Also, wasn't Clinkscales the recruit who said our staff was talking Big12?

Haha yeah I'd say that is a huge red flag.

I liked Clarke when he originally committed and would love to bring him back in.

Yeah I believe it was Clinkscale.

Yeah I believe it was Clinkscale.

Clinkscale is our DB coach who allegedly told a JUCO DT recruit that we were joining the B12 soon.

^^^ It is also the name of the recruit--- no relation.

That Copiah-Lincoln Junior College is loaded with talent. Glad we tapped some of it this year (and last year with Hartsfield and Jordan).

Isn't he supposedly considered the best JUCO DT in the country?

Yep. He is considered the best DT prospect in the country, but as you can see is second team All-American. I am guessing it is one of the cases where he is #1 based on his ceiling being higher than the guys who were picked first team (Clinkscales is much bigger than them).

I'm still waiting for the precipitous drop so many have loudly proclaimed would happen to our class rankings as other schools' classes filled up. Expect no accountability as that faux argument continues to fall apart.

Our class is more or less as it has been in recent years. Something also not considered possible considering our current end of the world conference affiliation.

Steve Clinkscale is our DB. Terrell ClinkscaleS is the JUCO DT recruit. It is all kinds of hilarious to me that Clinkscale is recruiting a kid with almost the the exact same name.

Agreed. And these will be players that fit Tuberville's particular criteria/system which should make for a more cohesive team going forward.
