Don't know much about Tx-Arlington that the Rebs play tomorrow, but we have two tough ones Saturday & Sunday. First, Rice on Saturday, which is ranked #2 in the country, and always tough. Then, doesn't get much easier on Sunday with Stetson, also ranked at #23.

I'd be elated with a sweep, but will be very happy with 2 out of 3.

Wow. MSU went 2-1 this weekend and is in LAST in the West. Overall, the West was 14-3-1 (I hate ties) against the East. All West teams except Arkansas were at home.

stinkin' rainouts
Tough weekend for State. I thought we'd take two, but Auburn got the clutch hits this weekend. State went from the #1 seed to the #4 seed.

Florida took a huge dive. They went from the #2 seed to not even making the tourney.

What is wrong with the SEC East? They only have two teams to supposedly go to the SEC Tournament. Is the West this good or is the East just struggling?

If you would have asked me that about 3 series ago, it would have been pretty simple, the West was that good, surprising really. But now, you have a better showing by the East after the halfway point against the West, some of the West teams, State included, might have run out of steam.
