Anyone think a mid or low major will hire him? Can they without going on probation?

Pitino also claims he was railroaded and directs harsh words for the “board of traitors”.
Cal State Northridge and UC Riverside are available...
Pitt and Marist. Marist would be a challenge
Depends if he has sanctions following him. If he doesn't, someone will hire him.
College of the Holy Cross. He needs to repent.

Funny enough, had UMass waited a year to make a coaching change they could have hired an alumnus and been back in the top-25.
Isn't he 65? Why in the world would any school touch him at this point.

UTEP is currently searching and I hope they don't even glance in his direction. Too many good young coaches that need an opportunity.
Sixth grade team in a CYO league, maybe?

Coach K is 71. Larry Brown was doing pretty well into his 70's.
UConn is looking
NBA? He seems to hostile and toxic for a college job now. I’m sure he could land something next year if he gets cleared which seems to be a big if

Utep and Charlotte both need a hard reset. Pitino would bring a top 25 recruiting class to either in 2019.

Yeah but how are the strippers in El Paso and/or Charlotte?
ECU should say screw it---and hire him.

ECU does not have the resources or money to get a quality coach. Have you ever looked at ECU's basketball history? Pitino knows he can do a whole lot better.

lol...Rick isnt going to get a big payday. Not right now. Radioactive employees typically come cheap.
McDonalds is hiring.
Don't be mad; UPS is hiring.

For reals, it would be worth whatever probation we'd get later to sign him for a few years at ECU.
Leavenworth have a team?
Am I the only one that thinks this is fodder for a lawsuit? Now he can say he wanted to get back into coaching but Louisville ruined his reputation. Another 10 years at $3-5 million/year is a nice chunk of money.

Never said a big payday but more than ECU can pay. Remember when Bobby Knight was toxic but not to toxic for the TT and the B12. Not like Georgia and Miss State are power basketball schools. Look at logically, Charlotte would make more sense than ECU. Odds he can run the through the CUSA easier than getting ECU to do it in the AAC. Also, there will be openings from schools that will be losing coaches. Imagine if URI coach goes to UCONN, there are much easier rebuilds than ECU which has never been built. Personally, I think Pitt would be an ironic hire. A program that has had some success and he remains in the ACC would be fun to watch.
