I'm not trying to run a daily blog anymore, but I still post when I come across something worthwhile (IMO). Hope you guys enjoy (sorry if you've already discussed):

Florida approves UCF Championship Plates

ECU schedule includes at least one ACC team all but 2 years, 2018-28

P6 News (about UCF national championship, etc.)

.
Thanks for doing what you do.
Every time an SEC fan complains about UCF, another person from Alabama gets rickets.

haha
Louisville continues the recent ACC trend of scheduling home-and-home with the American Athletic Conference. This time the Cards - never afraid of the competition, sometimes to their detriment - have signed a contract with defending undefeated* champs UCF:

Quote:In the first game of the series, Louisville will host UCF in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium on Sept. 18, 2021. The Cardinals will then travel to face the Knights in Spectrum Stadium in Orlando on Sept. 17, 2022.

__________
* Not to be confused with that other college football team who claims the national title despite 1) not winning their own division, and 2) losing to the team UCF beat in the Peach Bowl. But hey, they could always settle it on the field, right?

Oh, yeah, I guess that last head-to-head meeting with UCF didn't go so well for the Tide either? But hey, they're really good at beating SEC teams though...

Also, here's the 2018 AAC Football Schedule with all AAC vs P5 games highlighted:

There's only one AAC school they should be scheduling; the one they have a history with dating back to 1929.

Hey, I totally agree that Cincinnati should be top priority for Louisville. For that matter, I think the Bearcats should be high priority for several ACC teams - especially the ones who might think of recruiting Southern Ohio (e.g. Pitt, VT, Syracuse, BC, Louisville). I understand playing the Florida schools, but I don't understand avoiding UC.

CINCINNATI RECRUITING IS PART OF THE PRESCRIPTION, GUYS! RIGHT UP THERE WITH FLORIDA AND TEXAS. (EVEN NEW JERSEY IS WORTH A LONG LOOK - LOADED WITH NFL-CALIBER FOOTBALL TALENT!)

NJ has one D1 football school with a population of 9 million.
By comparison, NC with 7 and Ohio with 8 D1 schools each have about 1.5 million pop. per school. But don't tell anyone.

Oops! Looks like the Big Ten already figured that one out.

Uhh.... Ya know, we got a little history with um too...
https://accfootballrx.blogspot.com.es/20...games.html

The Deacs like to play fellow Southern privates, so...
Wake Forest @ Tulane

BC plays a Northeastern school and old Big East team...
Temple @ Boston College

Two ACC teams play ECU...
UNC @ East Carolina
East Carolina @ Virginia Tech

While Orange vs. Huskies was traditionally a better basketball game, it also makes some sense on the gridiron...
UConn @ Syracuse

USF and UCF, while having little or no history with the old ACC teams, still makes for interesting games for TV:
Georgia Tech @ USF
UCF @ UNC
Pitt @ UCF
