GDawgs, UK is also a proverbial patsy for the SEC, but unlike Vandy, they have the power to go bowling as well. Vandy needs to go to I-AA, where it really belongs.

Raptor, no one is advocating kicking out SC. Unlike Vandy, SC has great fan support, and a history of winning in the past. That alone goes a long way!!
Vanderbilt isnt going anywhere and it's the stupid media/outside SEC people that constantly label that. Anyone that knows anything about Vandy and the SEC knows we would NEVER kick them out.
On a side not, I was doing some HW for my PR class and I read about William Henry Vanderbilt..lol

If the SEC had a chance to bring Texas or Texas A&M on board, and was determined to stay at 12, Vandy would be booted somehow, or would be encouraged to leave the conference. $$$'s are what controls everything this day & time southlink, and I'm an SEC fan.
Also, FYI Southlink, a Knoxville, TN newspaper had a serious article about how much Vandy did not fit in the SEC and even advocated booting them out. Care to retract your statement???

Nope. Like I said, anyone that knows SEC Football and SEC Sports know that they would never kick Vandy out.

I don't need any connections (but I do know Claude Felton) to know that the SEC has held Vandy to its chest for a LONG, LONG time and uses it's daily facilities for not just football, baseball, and basketball games but for meetings, conferences, and all other sorts of important things. Vandy gives the SEC a GREAT Academic school. Vandy competes in Baseball and Basketball every year. Hell, they didnt even finish last in the SEC in the directors cup.
