Ten openings currently. I'm certain that there are a number of P5 jobs hanging by a thread, with their ADs hoping that more scandal info comes out to allow them to fire for cause instead of eating huge buyouts.

edit: Make that eleven, because I can't believe that Miller at Arizona survives.
That number will quadruple over the next few weeks.
All of a sudden people care. It’s just hysterical that now that this dirty little secret is public people are going to act like it’s a big deal and they had no clue what was going on under their watch. Coaches will be made out to be the bad guys, and we will do nothing to fix the real issues in college sports today.

One major problem to "fixing the real issues in college sports" is that the perception of "issues" is entirely subjective, according to whether the existing system works for you or not. If the system works for you, the system is great and you are just smarter than those complainers. The strongest of those in the P5 conferences are happy with the way the NCAA does things now. They fear that any changes would put a crimp into their success.
Other than UTEP & Charlotte, do you guys think any other CUSA schools will have new coaches next year? I bet Ole Miss makes a strong run at Kermit.
Keep in mind that for any P5 HC to have the chance to fail at that level, they must have been very successful at a lower level school's program to have been hired in the first place. If fired, they are likely to find a job back at the level (Tim Floyd) where they were before (unless fired for a severe morality issue - Briles).
UGA's Mark Fox canned maybe we get a recruit back
UConn's Kevin Ollie

Kermit is a good coach, but I dont think he is on the same level as AK. I understand why Ole Miss made the change, but they are not exactly upgrading the position if thats the way they go.
Kermit to Ole Miss reminds me so much of Haase to Stanford.
Have success in the NCAAs after winning the conference tournament.
Have another great season, but not win the tournament... realize you won't get an at-large bid in C-USA and leave town.

(Yes, I know Stanford was on Haase's bucket list. I don't know if Kermit had a bucket list. But it still smacks of a decent coaching leaving for better NCAA chances)
If I were Ole Miss, I'd snap up Kevin Ollie in a heartbeat.
