I had a nice conversation today with a woman and she got to talking about guns (assuming my blue state residence made me agree with here)
Called the AR15 an "AK 17, then an AR 47"
Called the AR15 a soldiers "weapon of war"
Knew a guy "who owned buns but didn't think we needed AK17s"
When I told here more people have been killed with hammers than AR15s she just shrugged and said "I still don't get why people need it, it's not good for anything"
When I pointed out that she, as a 100 pound woman would be better defended with an AR15 than a shot gun she did not know what recoil was
The ignorance is just astounding and I'm going to put it mostly on the left here.
