Not 100% on the details but AFA is playing Navy in Kinston, NC (90 min east of Raleigh) Feb 23-25 in the "Freedom Classic." Kinston has a 1A team (may be Indians affiliate). AFA wanted another game, NC State agreed so they will play in Raleigh on Feb 26. This makes 4 games in 4 days for both. AFA has another 3-game series in Dallas (Dallas Baptist) starting the following Friday. That is some road trip for a college team!
.
ND baseball travels to Louisiana, Texas and Florida for its first 19 games this season.

That happens every year. Last year, ND baseball traveled to California, Texas and North Carolina for its first 19 games.

Then comes the ACC regular season, with travel to points between Boston and Miami.

That is the lot of a Northern college baseball team. Nobody at ND thinks much about travel costs and issues. Part of the deal.
Why would Air Force be playing Navy in Kinston of all places?

I thought it was odd, even for a tournament, i.e. "Freedom Classic." It's not that close to any military facilities.

Why would anyone ever go to Kinston of their own free will?

This A 5* restaurant in the middle of Kinston. People fly to Raleigh and drive 90 minutes just to eat there.

Love her show on PBS.

But I'm of the same thinking her dad had one one I saw last week. Forgot what she cooked at home but when she asked him what he thought he said that it was good and it wasn't anywhere as expensive as it would have paid for it at Chef & Farmer.03-lmfao

Sorry...I'm not spending $26 on shrimp & grits like that when I can get something that looks a lot more appetizing and a lot more of it in Charleston for half that.

They have been playing there for years now. One reason is the location near and between Goldsboro and Jacksonville. Plus it is too cold to play in Maryland or Colorado.

It's called pimp my grits. They have several varieties, that one has mushroom ragu and fontina in the grits with a ham chip on top.
