Both Ken Pom and conference RPI showing that the WAC is an up and coming conference that is becoming very competitive. Road wins are hard to come by.
WAC now sits at #15 in KenPom. While I am disappointed in how well the Lopes have been playing, it is great to see the WAC showing significant improvement.

So, we are being rewarded for cannibalizing ourselves? Metrics are strange.
Where's the Big West? Oh wait, lower than the WAC. My bad Clarity.

The NCAA Tournament committee is looking at other metrics this year, but I think RPI will still be the top metric on their list:

As upset as I am about the birds leaving this nest, there's not much difference between 15th and 19th 07-coffee3
PRwolfe still shows the WAC number 17th.

PRWolfe Ratings

Carleton, Ontario is at number 73.

Lincoln Memorial is the top D2 school ahead of many D1. Southern Nazarene is the top GAC school right now.

I am surprise how good Western Oregon is right now.

Under the conference ratings near the bottom does show that conferences like Lone Star MIAA, NE 10 and the likes are better than some D1 conferences in Men's basketball.
