The Flashes will be in Muncie tonight for a regionally televised ESPNU clash with the Ball State Cardinals. A win would sure heal some recent ills and keep the Golden Flashes in the thick of the race for those third and fourth seeds in the MAC Tournament. A loss would leave you to wonder if the antics between Zabo and DLR against Eastern Michigan are taking over this club.
Regardless, the Cardinals are a halfway decent ball club. They are 15-9 overall, 6-5 in the MAC and 10-1 at Worthen Arena. The Flashes needed OT to knock them off at home last month. Here's to the kids going to bed early, the vodka not putting me to sleep and student athletes acting in a respectable manner...because nobody has to become numb to the ESPN/AAU/Its all about me culture!

That's the MAC in general. I can't remember it ever being worse. That's why Alexander's puff piece on Buffalo is complete trash.
I have some post-game thoughts and overall comments from the last two games but I am going to sleep on them. Be back tomorrow, maybe.
Probably one of the worst defensive efforts of the season. If De La Rosa is in foul trouble we probably need to leave him on the bench. The middle of the defense becomes non existent when he's trying to avoid another foul.
Question, I noticed Persons from BSU flex at our guys from the bench, stare down a couple defenders after baskets, slap the floor, and yell "this is my house". So is he an embarrassment to his school and it's alumni? Or is that reserved for Jaylin Walker?
I'm impressed that you watched so close. I was watching "This is Us" by halftime. Persons, Walker and any other student athlete who gets caught up in the nonsense that many professional athletes are promoting. Look, I agree that this sort of behavior is here to stay, but on the off chance that somebody with some influence reads this, I will never give up the stand that its bush league.
Anyway, as for the game. Ball State outrebounded Kent State by 13. Kent State had 13 turnovers against 12 assists and gave up 87 points on 56% shooting. Chicken Salad is difficult to make if you don't have any chicken.
Next up...at Buffalo!

This team is lining up to give Akron its first road win of the season.
I don’t sense a late season winning streak is in our future. But I’m never very good at predicting what this team is going to do in their next game.

Anyone that did what you described is an embarrassment IMO. I don’t have any personal vendetta against Walker.
For the record, I had no issue with the emotion Persons showed.

Last year makes me question myself too much to think this.
Jimmy Hall was really good. I don’t think he has any NCAA eligibility left.
