Quote:Florida State quarterback Deondre Francois is being investigated for a domestic violence incident involving a pregnant woman that is alleged to have occurred Tuesday evening.

According to a TPD report of the incident obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat, Francois and a woman, who told him she was pregnant with his child, got into an argument at his home on South Lipona Drive at about 6 p.m.

Both were interviewed and told dramatically different versions of what happened. Neither was arrested.

Francois, who called police, said he and a friend were hanging when the woman showed up, started to break things inside the house and tried to rip a TV off the wall during the argument.

She told police Francois became upset over a friend of his trying to talk to her. She said he broke down the bedroom door, according to the report, picked her up and threw her on the ground, cutting her forearm, and tried to kick her out of the house.

Quote:Francois said he grabbed the woman in a hug in an attempt to keep her from breaking items in the apartment and the cut on her arm came from a vase she'd broken during the fight. He said the woman had told him she was pregnant but had not provided paperwork to prove it.

Francois' friend Zaquandre White confirmed his account. He said Francois only put his hands on the woman "when he tried to prevent her from breaking things in the home and when he had to defend himself."

Due to the conflicting statements and lack of an independent witnesses, officers did not make an arrest.

State Attorney Jack Campbell confirmed there was a pending investigation regarding Francois and his office was being consulted by TPD.

“While it is a pending investigation it is confidential and we aren’t going to comment on it,” Campbell said.

Is it a prerequisite at FSU for the starting QB to be involved in a domestic violence incident?
When are these guys going to learn...put a raincoat on...girls can and will lie to get a piece of your future earnings.

It's hard to blame him on this one ... his account sounds more likely than hers.

You can bet, if the bedroom door was in fact, "broken down", the police would have arrested him. And then she goes on to say he threw her to the ground, and then "tried" to kick her out of the apartment?? Uh .. wut? He couldn't physically launch you out of the apartment?

I think this whole thing sounds like he got mixed up with some crazy poo-nanny ... who may or may not be pregnant.

I just read the article quickly but it seems like one lead to the other.
Couple of thoughts:

*Any player who assaults a women should be booted, period.

*Any women who uses assault threats as a weapon to 'scare people' should be charged. You do a MASSIVE disservice to women who have really suffered and trying to be heard.

*Francois called the police, not her. Headlines ignored this critical fact (yes media loves to drone on about 'facts'....media is corrupt).

*These 2 should not be breeding, that kid is doomed

"FSU QB Deondre Francois called police after an argument with his pregnant girlfriend. She broke a vase and was cut on her forearm. She did not want him to get in "trouble, trouble" but wanted police to "scare him a little" "
