Yeah, let's give up on Spiker halfway through year 2, that'll go great. /s

Spiker started with essentially nothing. Until we get to about year 4, there's no way we can adequately assess how much he's succeeding with the resources he has. He's already shown an ability to beat good teams, and it's just down to improving the consistency. I still vastly prefer him to Bruiser's complete lack of ability to adjust and lack of interest in even the most basic of analytics.

spiker's contract is for 4 years iirc.

I didn't think anything I said specifically referred to defensive adjustments. The "adjustments" I was referring to were more systematic, rather than in-game. Bruiser was subpar at both.

Ashley deserves a head coaching job, would be a shame if another school signs him.
