How would you like to get this message. What kind of a shiteshow are they running in Hawaii
I am not in Hawaii but my wife got this alert on her phone. Scary.

"Hey, What's this button do?"
Side note: Given we know it would take roughly 20 minutes from a North Korea launched missile to hit Hawaii, essentially they accidentally sent out a message to a lot of people telling them they had 20 minutes to live. Then 35 minutes later, issued the false alarm.
It's a good thing to know that our nuclear defense systems are in such tip top shape.

No worries, Tulsi tweeted that it was a false alarm.
Apparently twitter is the official protocol.

When something goes awry in democratic shithole hawaii and the libturds need to find the closest republican to blame it on, its not ironic that they have to throw their blame thousands of miles away.

Yeah, the Major Networks were in top form as well. CNN blaming Trump for something he obviously has no control over, Some doofus on Fox wanted to know if we should go back to Cold War era duck and cover drills...because we all know that will stop a nuclear explosion.
Only real decent coverage was an interview with a Hawaii State representative who described huddling with his children in the bathtub in prayer. That was kind of chilling, can't remember which network ran it.

Seriously? They are blaming Trump?

Official response from Hawaii's Emergency Management Department:
"During a shift change, it is routine procedure for the system to be tested to make sure it is working. In this case, the person instituting the test hit the wrong button and broadcasted the real message state wide"

A state agency employee pushed the wrong button, lol. Will probably get a raise and allowed to retire 5 years earlier than planned.

He was, in the grand tradition of all US Presidents over the last decade, playing golf when everything went nuts. It's probably worth at least one good joke that had the real thing happened he could have been the first sitting president to mobile launch a nuclear missile from a golf course. Which would have been so "Merica"
However, blaming Trump for the entire thing is a very CNN thing to do. If I understand how this works, the EBS is run by each state.

When a real nuke is incoming to an island I reside on, I'd probably prefer to know very little about it.

Yeah, I get warning the population, but there probably needs to be a better actual suggestion for what to do. There are video's out there of people putting their kids in Storm drains to protect them.
There's really not a ton you can do to avoid such an explosion. Just go indoors, stay away from windows and hope you're far away from where they are aiming.
The terrifying thing is that lord knows North Korea and any other place on earth who would love nothing more than to blow us to bits probably noticed this pile of dung today, and are now completely aware of how our response system works...or doesn't work.

So its Trump's fault that a libturd numbnut pushed a wrong button during a shift change? But its not Obamas fault that the head of the IRS was targeting conservatives.
And whoever designed that software interface; ever thought about adding a confirmation page prior to the send? Something in flashing red that says "You are about to broadcast the real deal to everyone. Type in YES to send the non-drill broadcast."
