85-75. Eagles now 1-2 in CUSA, & still undefeated at home for what that’s worth. 5 players with double digits in points tonight.

UTEP came in 6-8 with their only win over a half-decent team being Washington State, and a loss vs Lamar. They’re not good, but by gosh, at least we’re 10 points better.
Perhaps the buyout money can be transferred to the keep Joker from going to a bigger program fund.

There’s a good chance a buyout would actually be a send him to a bigger program fund.
Was at the game. Eagles controlled it the whole way. Led by 20 most of the second half. UTEP made like 6 threes in a row in the last 5 minutes to cut the final deficit to 10. Outcome was never in doubt after halftime.

This is Docs best team. We actually have at least 3 guys with legitimate D-1 caliber talent now. First time I could say that with a straight face in a while. Edwards and Griffin can start on most if not all C-USA teams. Magee is streaky but when he’s on he can be one of the better scorers in the league. Rowe is a solid role player when he’s on. Liability when he’s not. Holland is steady and knocks down open shots. Not a great player by any means but if he keeps making 3s at the rate he’s going at he’s a solid role player.

Edwards and Griffin will keep us at or above the level of the bad teams in the conference. If we’re going to beat any of the top 5 teams, Magee will have to be on.

First time seeing this team play, I know UTEP is awful, but there’s a little more talent on our squad than I thought. We have 18 conference games. I think this team should get 7 wins minimum. Magee is the key though. If he finds some consistency I could see us going .500 in league play. Nothing to write home about. But it would be a big improvement, with all the key contributors back next year.

I was there too. A little surprised that Eddie Davis who had been starting recently did not start and I don't think he ever touched the court. Was he hurt, suspended, in the doghouse? If it was mentioned on social media or the radio broadcast I obviously missed it. Thanks
I wondered that myself. He looked fine warming up. I’m guessing either doghouse or suspended.

Also, the intro video before starting lineups was absolutely dreadful. That needs to be brought to someone’s attention. It was like the intended audience was 2nd graders with the choice of music. Worst intro I’ve ever seen. You could tell the players were embarrassed, it was so lame. I realize they just got the video boards and threw something together real quick probably, but that was that was one of the most awkward 20 seconds of my life.

What was the deal? I walked in a little late.
Before they introduced our starting lineup, they showed a highlight video with music on the new video boards, similar to what they do just before the football team runs on the field. It just lacked any excitement. The music choice was more like something that needs to be played at a chucky cheeses, or an arcade, or an 8 year olds birthday party. It was just very lame. I looked at the players faces when it was being played and they couldn’t help but laugh.

I just thought it missed the mark. Usually videos like that attempt to inject some excitement into the venue or give a feel of building drama. Granted, that’s hard when there are only 500 people in the building. But it was just a poor effort.

We feel the same way watching their games most of the time

You are literally the problem.

You are "officially" the problem.
