New one today has us a #13 playing TCU in Dallas.
Northern Kentucky is #14
Lipscomb is also a #13
Tennessee is #6
Exciting to be in the early conversation. Let’s take care of business in conference and come out a 12 seed, why not! Go Bucs!
Lipscomb being a 13, destroys the validity of this bracket.

Way too early.

Lipscomb's RPI and KenPom will drop dramatically when they start playing the A-Sun teams.
Lipscomb is pretty good mid-major team.
^ Hell has frozen over. That explains why it’s so blasted cold!

That happened when the Cubs won the series. World has gone downhill since then 07-coffee3

Lipscomb just lost to UNF which had 3 D-I wins prior to the game. Lipscomb still at RPI 55.
Updated picks have us #13 playing #4 Auburn. Would love to see Forbes send Pearl home.

Lipscomb is NOT a good mid-major. They played a guarantee-heavy schedule which skewed their RPI and got a couple of wins over Belmont. They lost by 18 at Jacksonville last weekend and barely beat an awful Stetson team at home.

Lipscomb would get waled on in the SoCon.

I watched them play. They have obviously dropped a couple tiers, but they are good perimeter shooting team.
ETSU would beat Carolina if they played right now.
If we make it to the tournament, I don't think it will be a 13 seed. 2-3 teams always will lose their conference tournament and not make the NCAA tournament, which will put us as a 12 seed.

True. a Mid-50's (currently) RPI put ETSU in the 12-13 range. Unless something drastic happens, that RPI will probably drift closer to the 40's. That's 11-12 range. At that point it probably becomes more about matchups. The committee doesn't like to send conference winners to Dayton. So I think Bucs could move up or down the seed line to keep that from happening.

They don't like sending 11th seed conference winners to Dayton. They dont mind sending the 16 seeds that are lucky just to be at Dayton.

I would take the matchup but would prefer it not be in Boise. My wife is a teacher and is on Spring break that week and I took a few vacation days for that week. If the Bucs were to make it, their destination will likely be ours. A last minute trip to Boise may be hard to put together unless Tri decides to schedule a direct flight for ETSU fans.
Member when chatt was a 12 and got schalacked by Indiana in the first round?

It's rare to see mid major conference tournament winners in those 12-12 or 11-11 matchups. I honestly can't remember the last time it happened (St Louis a few years ago maybe, but I don't think they won the A10 tournament).
