Biggest question mark heading into the offseason. Do you have enough trust for one of the guys already on the roster to lead us to back2back titles or should we give the highly recruited true frosh coming in a chance?

Would not be surprised if one of the true freshmen is starting by the time MAC play begins.

However, we cannot fall into the trap of just switching qb's every game. That never amounts to a title. If your gonna make a switch at a quarter of the season then he's gotta be our guy until the end.

Yep—I agree, and that’s my prediction. I liked what I saw from Mitch Guadagni in high school, particularly his ability to keep a play alive with his feet, and I had hoped that he would be woven into the game plan this past season as a situational QB, but that didn’t happen. As a result, he hasn’t played much in what seems like a long time, and he’s probably pretty rusty. One of the 2 incoming freshmen will have a solid shot at taking over if the offense sputters with Guadagni as we enter conference play.

Dionte was in my opinion the best surprise of the 2017 season. Coming off missing a year from an injury that ends many careers, Dionte was a wonderful surprise. He is a fantastic athlete, and is really dependable. The receiver corp is really good. A few too many drops against Ohio and App State, but overall the play was very positive. I noticed how well Logan placed the ball. No big surprise he has been getting looks

Thanks for posting!! Go Rockets!!
I hope to be able to attend the spring game to get a look at the QBs. A few times last year Logan could have come out a series or two earlier.
Mitch played in more games than I realized. I predict that they won't hand the keys to a freshman; not with the receiving corps we'll have.
