Why should we care? Because Iowa had a five game bowl losing streak going in to the game that they just snapped. That puts NIU nearer the top of the list of longest active bowl losing streaks at 5 in a row.

I believe Ball State still leads at 7 in a row. As a matter of fact, their overall bowl record (FBS) is 0-7.

The longest ever belongs to Notre Dame who lost 9 in a row between '95 and '07

Well if Carey stays long enough he will easily set the new record for consecutive bowl losses. He's the best at sucking.

Making matters worse NIU opens at Iowa next year and they likely have not forgotten the loss to NIU.
