ESPN BPI gives up a 99 percent chance to get back in the Win column.... Greensboro College lost to NC-Wesleyan 91-75, who we beat 105-81. Wings Up!

It's time the team gets some confidence back rolling. Let's hang triple digits and hold them to 60 or less.
That Howard loss sapped like 90 % of my remaining interest in THIS season. A big part of me would like to just fast forward to next year when reinforcements come in.

But then I remembered I'd miss baseball season. So never mind.
I'll be honest. I am not confident we'll win. They don't have a single player over 6'5"on the roster, but if they can hit 3's and drive, they can probably score with us. Reminds me of the Pfeifer team we played last year who gave us a run. Probably very athletic.

I understand your concern as our defense is horrendous. Would like to point out that that Pfeifer is a pretty successful D2 program, whereas Gboro College is a mediocre D3 program.
so with a win tonight, 2/3 of our wins would be Vs non D1. LOL
This Greensboro team lost to NC Weslyan 75-91 2 weeks ago. However...Talley will be a scratch tonight with a hamstring issue.

Seahawks are playing well.

Most importantly, McGrath has instituted a fair amount of zone defense in the first half.

Just tuned in.

Did you say zone? We may not need it to win this game so maybe a chance to get in some real playing time using the zone? That's a good sign, because we have got to do something. Bottom 10 in 3 major defensive NCAA categories. Will not win many games like that.
Gbo are getting far too many shots up. If this was a shooting team, we would be loosing bad.
Can't take much from this game at all. But, it may allow the guys to get some confidence on offense. Estime hasn't looked good taking shots this year, but has hit 2-3 from 3. And Gary is 2-3 from 3. If they can get some confidence and have the patience to take good 3 point attempts that aren't rushed, it will help a lot come CAA play.

We are currently 5-9 from three and 8-10 from the FT line. That's about all I can take against this opponent
For comparison sake. UNCW is up 54-32 against a terrible DIII Greensboro College that has nobody over 6'5". NDSU was up 52-28 at the half against UNCW. Let that sink in.
How's the turnout?
Gave my tix to a coworker so her and her husband could have a date night
For a DII game this week after Christmas, doesn't look bad.
I think I saw Bryan dunk for the first time as a Seahawk! He was on the run and took it to the rack wide open. It wasn't pretty or rim rattling, but it was a dunk!

We scored 101 to their 60. Has anyone on this board ever called an exact score?

You’re all welcome.

Congrats on hitting the 60! But, technically, there are 900 "triple digit" numbers. So, you did not hit an "exact score" as you say. Jus sayin 05-nono

All in all, we’re finally back in the win column. That’s all I wanted out of tonight. Let the guys get some confidence back. This nothing burger of a game couldn’t have come at a better time. Now it’s time for them to focus and get rolling in conference play. Once that’s over... we can truly get a better reading of where we are as a CAA team.

Hopefully Talley will be ready to go against Delaware. Really going to need his leadership and playmaking ability on the floor.

Good to see some of the Freshman play well, but that tends to happen when you are bigger , faster , stronger than your opponent. Hopefully, it does give them some confidence though for sure. Wish we were more than 1-9 vs. D1 comp, but, it is what it is.
